# Business Architecture OS overview

## What BaOS is

Business Architecture OS (BaOS) is a professional implementation and training service. It organizes approved information about a business into a portable workspace configured for ChatGPT or Claude.

The service maps departments, workflows, owners, handoffs, tools, examples, instructions, and review requirements. BaOS then helps determine whether a given job belongs with AI, software, another tool, a checklist, or a person.

BaOS is not a software subscription. It is a scoped engagement that produces company-specific deliverables and training.

## The problem it addresses

A company's team may understand the business while an AI assistant sees only the current prompt. Important information may be scattered across people, documents, and software. The result can be repeated explanations, inconsistent outputs, and unclear responsibility.

BaOS creates a structured business map and operating workspace so approved context, ownership, and review rules are available when work is performed.

## Intended client

The public site describes BaOS as suitable for small and midsize businesses that:

- have repeatable work;
- have important context spread across people, files, or tools;
- want to use ChatGPT or Claude with clearer company context;
- need explicit owners, handoffs, instructions, and review boundaries;
- are prepared to supply accurate information and make appropriate owners available for review.

Fit still depends on the requested scope, information sensitivity, and the client's ability to participate.

## What BaOS does not claim

BaOS does not claim to:

- automate every business process;
- replace management or final human approval;
- guarantee AI output or a business result;
- provide a software subscription;
- store passwords, API keys, payment-card numbers, or other prohibited credentials in the delivered workspace;
- include implemented workflows in Foundation unless they are expressly added to scope.

AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. The client remains responsible for business decisions, lawful information use, final approvals, and use of third-party AI services.

## Ownership

After full payment, the client may use, copy, edit, and maintain the company-specific workspace and deliverables. The client retains ownership of the business information it supplies. BaOS retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, reusable templates, general know-how, and tools, including improvements that do not disclose confidential client information.
