Terms of service

1. Agreement

These terms apply to your use of the Business Architecture OS website and to any Foundation, Workflow Sprint, or Custom engagement you purchase. By using the website or completing a purchase, you agree to these terms and the policies linked below.

2. What BaOS provides

BaOS is a professional implementation and training service, not a software subscription. The scope shown at checkout identifies the departments and workflows included. We use information you provide to map the business, configure a portable workspace, test the agreed setup, and teach your team how to use it.

Specific deliverables depend on the offer purchased. Foundation does not include implemented workflows unless expressly added to the scope. Custom work outside the purchased scope requires a separate written agreement or additional purchase.

3. Your responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate, current information; obtain permission before sharing information about employees, customers, or other people; avoid uploading unlawful material or regulated information that has not been approved for this engagement; and make appropriate owners available for review and approval.

You remain responsible for business decisions, final approvals, the lawful use of your information, and how you use ChatGPT, Claude, or any other third-party service with the delivered workspace.

4. Fees and payment

Prices are shown before checkout and are charged as one-time payments through Stripe. Any taxes, currency conversion costs, or bank fees shown at checkout are your responsibility. Work begins when the scheduled service call starts unless we agree otherwise in writing.

5. Scheduling, participation, and delays

You are responsible for scheduling the call, submitting requested materials, and ensuring the appropriate people attend. If information or access is delayed, delivery dates may move. Calendly manages scheduling and rescheduling subject to its own terms.

6. Ownership and permitted use

After full payment, you may use, copy, edit, and maintain the company-specific workspace and deliverables created for you. You retain ownership of the business information you provide. BaOS retains ownership of its pre-existing methods, reusable templates, general know-how, and tools, including improvements that do not disclose your confidential information.

7. Confidentiality and data

We will use your non-public business information only to provide and support the engagement, protect the service, and meet legal obligations. Our collection and handling practices are described in the Privacy Policy. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

8. AI and third-party services

AI outputs can be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable. BaOS helps define context, responsibilities, and review boundaries but does not guarantee any AI output or business result. Stripe, Calendly, Vercel, Resend, ChatGPT, Claude, and other third-party services are governed by their own terms and availability.

9. Refunds

Refund eligibility and the request process are governed by the Refund Policy. The policy is incorporated into these terms.

10. Acceptable use

You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with service operation, upload malicious content, infringe another person’s rights, or use BaOS deliverables for unlawful activity.

11. Disclaimers and liability

Except for the specific services and deliverables in your purchased scope, the website and services are provided without warranties of uninterrupted operation, fitness for a particular purpose, or guaranteed business outcomes. To the fullest extent permitted by law, BaOS is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or lost-profit damages. BaOS’s aggregate liability arising from an engagement will not exceed the amount you paid for that engagement.

Nothing in these terms excludes a right or remedy that cannot legally be excluded.

12. Changes and contact

We may update these terms prospectively by posting a revised effective date. Material changes affecting an active paid engagement will not retroactively reduce the agreed scope. Contact support with questions or concerns.
